God's at Work!

Last Week Next Week

October 13th

Day 11: Another busy few days; On Sunday we visited Khanyisa Church which is a small Church in the township of Gugaletu, we experienced communion SA style which was really relaxed and nice, then in the afternoon we visited Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens which were full of colour then it rained with a big thunderstorm which was nice to watch from the foyer of the gardens, then in the evening we went to Jubilee Church in Cape town and enjoyed some really good worship and teaching.

Today we started as normal but during the worship I was broken by God in some of my attitudes. After this we went to Lwandle pre-school to carry on the practical work that was started last week, I was playing with the younger children and now know what a human climbing frame feels like at one point I had four children hanging from various parts of my body!!!! more of the same tomorrow(help).

Prayer Points: That God would continue to break me and mould me into who he wants me to be and that I would know where he wants me to be in him.

Today was just one of those God days, you know the sort of thing I mean, Holy Spirit just breaks all the rules etc.... We had a couple of men come to day to speak about the Holy Spirit and they started prophesying over people I was proheysied over so watch this space for developments :)).

Today we had kids club in Maccasar with about forty or so children, we decided to have a talent show!!!! I managed to wangle my way onto the sound desk(phew) It was quite a hard time as we won't see these children again before we leave. Tomorrow we do our last kids club in Lwandle only God knows what he's got in store for us.

October 16th

Another couple of busy days have passed the kids club went really well and we had great fun playing the parts of school kids in a little drama. Today we had a few things to do these included helping to run a soup kitchen at a TB and HIV clinic in Lwandle and walking around a small township and playing games and evangelising with small children.
Tonight we went to a cell group in the Lwandle township, which has about 35 members that attend regularly(a small church in the UK) the worship was all in Xhosa so we tried to join in as well. The amazing joy that was in that room is undescribable. Anyway I'm off to bed another busy few days ahead
